OTR X RISE Carolina Memorial Day Classic
HWPO 16U is stream rolling the comp this weekend.
Backcourt combo of ‘28 @A3Moses@CAMSWISH2028 is proving to be one of the best on the 16U OTR Circuit.
📌 @HwpoHoops
I’ll be talking with OTR scouts in June about the best players they’ve seen on the OTR Circuit & I’m positive that @CAMSWISH2028 name will come up more than once.
Consistent effort on both ends. Carries himself well off the floor too.

'28 Cameron Blackwell displayed consistent play for HWPO OTR in a pair of wins on the opening day of @OntheRadarHoops#SummerJam. Scored, defended, played with poise and set teammates up for easy buckets. @CAMSWISH2028@HwpoHoops
2028 PG Cameron Blackmon continues to put on a clinic. He has elite ball control, utilizes high-speed dribbling to breakdown defenders, and great shot selection.
@CAMSWISH2028
Cameron Blackman, Atlanta-based Class of 2028 point guard, showcases quickness, playmaking, and competitiveness. His development makes him a rising young guard to monitor. @CAMSWISH2028 https://t.co/JQiiuY7K5m
2028 G Cam Blackman (@CAMSWISH2028) continues to be one of the most productive guards on the OTR Circuit with @HwpoHoops. He’s dynamic with the ball and can get to the bucket with ease. He just dropped 20+ again.
‘28 Cameron Blackmon is definitely one of the best PGs in his class. Cam has a very polished feel for the game. He can literally get any shot he wants but plays the right way in the flow of the game. (22pts)
@CAMSWISH2028@LanierHoops@OntheRadarHoops@_joshtec
What is the biggest win of the day arguably, Lanier knocks off 6A #6 and unbeaten Buford as they have 4 in double figures and 2028 @CAMSWISH2028 drops 20 on the Wolves. @_DjBembery dropped 21 in the near dbl dbl effort…. Lanier is now 6-1 and the newly ranked Horns are hot rn
Cameron Blackman (@CAMSWISH2028) delivered a dominant performance tonight. He played with relentless intensity from start to finish and never backed down from anyone on the floor. His physicality and defensive activity set the tone, making life difficult for whoever he matched up with.
In transition, Cameron is a problem — once he gets the ball and starts downhill, he’s extremely hard to contain. If defenders cut off his lane, he can stop on a dime and knock down the midrange jumper. What really separates him is his ability to finish through contact at the rim, showing both strength and control. Watching him play is exciting because he never takes a play off, and that motor makes him a serious threat every possession.
Game Stats:
13 points
3 assists
3 steals

Cameron Blackman | 2028 | Lanier Longhorns @LanierHoops
Blackman @CAMSWISH2028 displayed excellent court vision, attacking the rim with purpose and recognizing when to dish the ball to the open man for the assist if the scoring lane wasn’t there. He is highly skilled with the ball in his hands, showing poise and control that allows him to create plays for both himself and his teammates. His ability to balance scoring with playmaking makes him a key piece on the floor.

Cameron Blackman | 2028 | Lanier High School
Blackman @CAMSWISH2028 is a smooth scorer who can knock down the three from deep and make it look effortless. He’s dangerous both off the catch-and-shoot and when creating his own shot, giving defenders little room for error. In transition, he pushes the pace and gets downhill quickly—if the open man isn’t there, he has no problem attacking the basket and finishing strong. What makes him even more effective is his ability to consistently find the right spots on the floor to get open and score.
