Taking care of the temple grounds can be arduous work especially in the summer. Thankfully the mountain has no shortage of springs to enjoy, the heated mineral water does wonders on Ami's bones.

Ami's shrine is not without modern comforts -ish. There's a phone and a television, an old landline and a CRT. One would think they've stepped into the late 80s when seeing her living room.

Ami mostly watches to check for the weather, which can be unpredictable on the mountain.

Visitors these days are usually relegated to local villagers seeking spiritual healing. Rarely she'll encounter someone not from these lands however, those need her services the most.

Unfortunately for travelers it's monsoon season, which means road closures and flash flooding down the mountain. Ami's shrine is near the summit so most of the rain isn't too bad..

But this means anyone visiting the shrine must stay until it goes away, likely overnight!

Fourty-three years old and the current caretaker of an ages old shrine. Sitting atop a lonely mountain overlooking a modest town, Ami is in charge of coordinating the yearly festivals.
