STAND WITH THE DOS — DO NOT DESTROY THE INSTITUTION WHILE CLAIMING TO DEFEND THE MAN

There is a hard truth that everyone involved in the struggle must confront: if you genuinely care about Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, you should think carefully before attacking the institutional structure that has carried his movement forward.

The Directorate of State (DOS), led by Chika Edoziem, is a political and organisational structure and the leadership of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB). People are free to disagree with its decisions, question its leadership, or demand accountability. But disagreement should not become an excuse to destroy the very structure they claim to be protecting.

Let us be brutally honest.

You cannot spend every day saying “Free Mazi Nnamdi Kanu” while simultaneously working to fracture the organisation built around his political cause. You cannot claim to be defending the man while deliberately creating confusion, division and permanent hostility among the people who support his cause.

If there are genuine grievances against the DOS, present evidence. Demand accountability. Ask difficult questions. Debate the leadership. But stop turning every disagreement into a war for destruction.

And to those attacking the DOS while claiming that they are doing everything for Mazi Nnamdi Kanu: what exactly is your endgame?

If your actions weaken the organisation, divide its supporters and destroy its institutional continuity, who ultimately benefits?

Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is one man. A movement is bigger than one individual.

That does not mean anyone should blindly worship the DOS. It means people should understand the difference between accountability and destruction.

If you believe the DOS is wrong, challenge it with facts.

If you believe its leadership has failed, make the case.

If you believe reforms are necessary, demand reforms.

But do not confuse internal disagreement with a mandate to destroy everything.

The most dangerous thing that can happen to any movement is when its own supporters become so consumed by personal loyalty, anger and factionalism that they forget the larger objective.

Those who truly care about Mazi Nnamdi Kanu should be asking a much bigger question:

What happens to his political cause if the organisation surrounding that cause is deliberately destroyed from within?

Protect the movement. Demand accountability. Reject personality cults. Reject propaganda. Reject reckless factionalism.

And above all, stop pretending that destroying the institution automatically protects the man.

Stand with the DOS. Stand for accountability. Stand for unity. And stand for Mazi Nnamdi Kanu without destroying the structure associated with his cause.

Because if you destroy the organisation while claiming to defend the cause, you may end up achieving the opposite of what you say you want.
