@vincefangway@MachDominus they are the terran born exiles that stayed mostly loyal to the imperium unlike the ashen claws who became the first Renegade marines
@GrimmFraying@ErikvdHeeg@FroegVol4 Yes and some of those large fortress cities are what is keeping the Russians from engaging parts of the Ukrainian rear line with cheep short range drones due to the terrain being more advantageous for their doctrine. Almost like Logistics and Strategic buildups inform each other.
@GrimmFraying@ErikvdHeeg@FroegVol4 Yeah
1 Did i say supper forts and guns are a practical or good idea no, im just saying glide bombs are not that hard too deal with
2 "forts" (ie, heavily dug in cities) are being very practically used in Ukraine to blunt and apply heavy attrition to the Russians.
@GrimmFraying@ErikvdHeeg@FroegVol4 Tbf, that is solved by most SHORAD and if youβre investing in supper guns a Centurion C-Ram or Gepard arnt out of the picture if not a more advanced system that can reliably intercept cruice missiles.
@realrealcat@pmamtraveller Time, education and wealth. The greeks and romans had the time population education and relative wealth to invest into the arts that only more centralised non tribal civilisation can properly do.
