He had served on the CAPCOG board since 2024 and quickly became a board officers, where he provided budget guidance and more. Member representatives such as Dr. Hougen, give a lot to their community and the region through their volunteer service.
CAPCOG's Executive Committee said a hopefully short-term goodbye to Dr. Steve Hougen, former Mayor Pro Tem of Granite Shoals, last week. Dr. Hougen was term-limited and could not run again during the city's May elections.
CAPCOG's Shirley Trapani and Austin area elder attorney, Terry Garrett, with The Garrett Law Firm, PLLC, joined the fourth episode of a new caregiver podcast to share information about the legal needs of caregivers.
