Thanks to @FranceinSomalia , @caresom wrapped up a 5-day Mental Health & Psychosocial Support training in Kismayo for MOH staff, case workers, counselors, and GBV nurses. The training strengthened providers’ capacity to deliver survivor-centered, holistic care for GBV survivors.
Today, @caresom and partners welcomed Helena Lassen, Head of Programme at CARE Denmark, for a fruitful discussion. Helena is in Somaliland on a field visit mission.

The Somali Federal Govt. led by @SoDMA_Somalia and in partnership with @caresom under the #AART project funded by @DKinSomalia , has developed a National Drought Anticipatory Action Framework. A one day review and consultative validation meeting was held today in Mogadishu.
H.E. Prime Minister @HamzaAbdiBarre received the Regional Director for Eastern and Central Africa at Care International, Mr. Apollo Gabzira, at his office and discussed exacerbating the development agency’s projects in Somalia, aligning with the government’s National Transformation Plan (NTP).
