Planning to visit Lake Maumelle soon?
Don't be alarmed if you see a large boat with antennas and sensors and people surveying the western portion of the lake. The sensors will create an underwater map of the lakebed, also known as a Bathymetric Map.
Itβs officially #DrinkingWaterWeek! #CentralArkansasWater invites both water professionals and our community to celebrate by honoring the vital role water plays in our daily lives.
As the cleanup efforts continue, please pay special attention to water meter box locations, fire hydrants, backflow preventers, valve boxes, and any other plumbing fixtures so that they are not damaged or covered up, which could lead to unnecessary water disruptions. Stay safe!
