Got an email back about the phone operator issue and was told to try using an alternate phone number.

Which is all well and good if you have numbers spare but I ain't paying £10 for a top-up to get a number that may or may not work.

@BoundPrince --- try and get around the issue but even that came up with the same error about an unsupported phone operator.

Just searching for 'unsupported operator' on Twitter shows that there's a shit tonne of people with the same issue and Twitter still hasn't done anything.

@BoundPrince ||. I've got no idea. I've looked into it before but Google Voice is UK only and the original method of doing it over here in the UK was replaced with the business only version a while back.

Besides, another writer on here made a Google Voice number for me the other day to ---

That being said, Twitter would usually ask for a phone number almost immediately after making a new account so the fact that it isn't is perhaps a good sign...?
