@claralexlobo on transitional pain services. Amazing lesson! How to identify pts at risk? Pre? Post-op? Do we have the resources? TPSs have positive impact and are cost-effective. We need to sensitise officers for institutional support which is paramount to implementation #WDRAPM

Dr. Joana Marques speaking about regional anaesthesia in the paediatric setting and sedation for this particular population; the beautiful and accessible of neuraxial anatomy in the newborn and KETODEX as sedation option with few lateral effects if any when used right #WDRAPM
@CAREsraPortugal@CAR__internos@ESRA_trainees@ESRA_Society DEBATE: Non-anesthesiologists will learn RA techniques for trauma regardless we agree or not. But anesthesiologists are better placed to become the teaching element. Goal is to reach more patients and better care. Be a part of the solution or the problem? Food for thought #WDRAPM
Train has left the station. The curriculum for Emergencists on USRA exists. Maybe anaesthesiologists are incapable to respond to all cases in the ED, but they should definitely lead the movement of RA in the trauma setting. However we are not on the same train sometimes #WDRAPM
What are the barriers anaesthesiologists face to perform RA in trauma setting? Trauma is complex: need for simultaneous interventions, hemodynamic instability, coagulopathy, colleagues, difficulty to obtain consent, environment, etc.
How to offer better pain care safely? #WDRAPM
