Merry Christmas! The holidays can be a difficult time for children in foster care. They may be missing their parents, siblings, extended family, and familiar traditions but CASA volunteers try to make the season a little brighter for the children and families we serve.
Kari is one of more than 300 CASA-NYC volunteers making sure that every one of the nearly 1,100 children and youth we’re serving this year knows that they have an extra support system advocating for their best interest.

This month we seek to increase awareness and bring attention to the need for adoptive families. So far in 2023, CASA-NYC has helped to finalize the adoptions of 16 children into their forever families, where they will experience safety, and stability, - permanently.
