In fact, one of our programs, EMPOWER, provides CASA volunteers to court-involved youth in DC who are suspected or confirmed survivors of human trafficking, sexual abuse, and other forms of sexual violence.
These volunteers receive extensive and specialized training in human trafficking and sex crimes to prepare them to provide high-quality advocacy on these cases.

CASA DCโs Preparing Youth for Adulthood initiative seeks to change the outcomes of transitional-aged youth by identifying youthโs individual strengths & needs, supporting the development of essential life skills, & building community connections with the assistance of a volunteer
