CASDO in partnership with Save The Children Malawi with funding from Norad (SCREP programme) today officially opens Neno 6th session of Children Parliament at the district council hall at 08:45am with a theme Called ‘Children Parliament:Children voices matter”
Children will deliberate the following motions:Child Protection, Climate Change, Poor road Infrastructure, inadequate clean water and sanitation facilities in schools and communities and Access to and quality Education.
The Guest of honor will be Hon. Evertone Kondowe MP and Hon David Chida MP members of Parliamentary Committee on Social and Community Affairs. Also in attendance will be the Director of Programs in Save the Children Mr Frank Mwafulirwa,

#CASDO team currently attending a partnership learning and sharing meeting funded by Save the Children which has targeted all partners implementing various projects with Save the Children across the country at Crossroads hotel in Lilongwe.
The #CrisisModifer was activated to mitigate the impact of the floods and restore food security for affected households. With @MalawiGovt, we targeted 7000 #SocialCashTransfer households in Chikwawa and Nsanje with maize, beans, and vegetable seeds for replanting lost crops...

Second day of Field Monitors orientation which is currently taking place at Mwanza Hotel.The training has attracted participants from Nsanje, Chikwawa, Neno and Mwanza districts which are implementing a Raising Asset and Income for a Sustainable Environment in Malawi [RAISE].
