Lovely wee day out with our Tuesday Group, in partnership with @Shire_HA! We went a run down the shore front, had a shot at the 2p falls & then a fish supper. One of our ladies told us that it’s the best day she’s had in years & it’ll keep her going through the winter months 🥹♥️

This years theme is #EmbraceEquity. We need to embracing equity, and recognise that everyone has different needs and circumstances. These should be met with the necessary resources and opportunities in order to reach an equal outcome for all.

What an amazing afternoon we had today! Our Get the Gither was aimed at people 50+ who may experience social isolation. We had individuals there from 6 different local villages -what an atmosphere. It was lovely to see people enjoying themselves! 🤩

Huge thank you to our entertainer, the wonderful Billy Jay, who had people up dancing and singing along. We’d also like to say thanks to the Corner Cafe, Auchinleck for an amazing buffet, and thanks to Smiths Coaches and Coalfield Community Transport for buses.

Social isolation has increased in recent years and we wanted to put together a wee afternoon where people can come along, have a sing song and meet some new people!
