Há cerca de dez anos, o artista brasileiro Gabriel Picolo conquistou a internet com suas ilustrações independentes dos Jovens Titãs. O sucesso foi tão grande que chamou a atenção da própria DC Comics, que o convidou para trabalhar em diversas graphic novels de sucesso dos Titãs.

Nesta semana, Picolo surpreendeu novamente ao compartilhar uma arte da Vampira, com o design de X-Men Evolution, acompanhada por Professor X e Magneto ao fundo. A legenda da foto diz:

Eu estou cumprindo o meu dever cívico de marcar os editores da Marvel para que vejam isso, e recomendo que vocês façam o mesmo. Seria incrível ver Picolo trazendo sua visão única para os X-Men.

We know we’re not white (Caucasian). Our skin generally has more yellow undertones. Could this be a translation issue where the Korean word for “fair/light skin” gets translated as “white”? We’re talking about having a lighter complexion, not being white as a race.
