Happy to share our last contribution for this year! As it turns out a spoonful of physics helps mitigate hallucinations in computational super-resolution microscopy achieved through gen #AI@GabrielMaggiora@RuiLiLi2022@CASUSscience@MishaKudryashev https://t.co/WWYsjEhwn5
On behalf of the entire Chair of Theoretical Chemistry at TU Dresden and CASUS we would like to extend our warmest wishest for a great holiday season and peace, quiet and best of luck in the year 2025.
An extra thank you to all who traveled a long way from our partner institutions @UFZ_de, @mpicbg, @tudresden_de, @uniwroc & @HZDR_Dresden. One of the event themes was “Building Community”. A one-off meeting is surely not enough, but we are confident we made a big step today! 3/3
An intense day has come to an end. Many thanks for the support, the enthusiasm and all the valuable input! So many interesting things to explore and to turn new findings into action. Let's keep the pace high! 🏃 #complexsystems#sustainable#systems#science 1/3
The day was also a great opportunity to showcase our work to our funding bodies @BMBF_Bund & @SMWK_SN. And according to the feedback we definitely seized the opportunity. 💪 2/3
Our Science Day has started and we are really happy about the packed lecture hall 💬🏦. After all, Christmas Eve🎄is just five days away! We wish all participants exciting insights and stimulating discussions. #Goerlitz#cityofscience#exchange
It was an absolute blast having our close collaborators from @CASUSscience today - a fruitful day with lab practicals & 6 microscopes built to be deployed to multiple sites for #UTI diagnosis in the near future. Exciting times! Looking forward to another stimulating day tomorrow!
Yesterday, State Secretary Dr. Andreas Handschuh @SMWK_SN opened the new Data Center @HZDR_Dresden. With the #IT infrastructure, the HZDR responds to the growing need for computing power for scientific activities in the field of artificial intelligence. #AI@CASUSscience#HAICORE
We are delighted to welcome our partners @UFZ_de, @mpicbg, @tudresden_de & @uniwroc in December to talk about the achievements we have accomplished & the challenges we want to tackle next. Five years of @CASUSscience is a great occasion to do so, isn't it? @HZDR_Dresden #Görlitz
First results from our project with Helmholtz Institute Freiberg for Resource Technology (#HIF) 🎆: The new conceptual framework for an autonomous #UAV (aka #drone) swarm is especially suitable to efficiently scan complex 🏔 environments. @HZDR_Dresden ⏩ https://t.co/zGhNC21mYW
We are delighted to announce that project 2DPolyMembrane involving @ThomasHeine14 @TUD_Science is among the 57 new @ERC_Research#Synergy projects!
The project was awarded €10 million to develop ultra-thin, high-precision #2D#polymer#membranes!

I am looking for a PhD student to join our work at @CASUSscience and work on ecological pattern formation. The project is not tied to a specific system, and options range from microbes to vegetation in water-limited ecosystems. Starting date is Feb 2025 and app. deadline Nov 22.
