The Hon’ble Punjab & Haryana High Court has recorded that the CBDT is likely to issue an order regarding ITR for Tax Audit due date extension by tomorrow.

Dept. Counsel confirmed that the matter is under consideration and the notification is expected soon.

Today TAR Extension Hearing in various High Court's as follows:
1. Allahabad High Court
2. Bombay High Court
3. Delhi High Court
4. Madhya Pradesh High Court
5. Punjab and Haryana High Court

There court be more hearings, I might not be aware. You can update in comment.

If they plan to extend date they will reply during the hearing that they are considering extension therefore, no need for hearing.

Otherwise, Khelte rahiye Court-Court Extension-Extension.

Today, on 25th I can't even say that extension should be timely... It's already too late.

डिपार्टमेंट राजस्थान और कर्नाटक हाई कोर्ट के 30 Day Date Extend करने के फैसले के ख़िलाफ़ सुप्रीम कोर्ट जाएगा या नहीं, इसका पता कल चल जाएगा

क्यूंकि आज रात को राजस्थान और कर्नाटक हाई कोर्ट का Interim Order अपलोड होगा कोर्ट की वेबसाइट पर, उसको पढ़ने के बाद ही जाएगा डिपार्टमेंट, अगर गया तो

अगर डिपार्टमेंट गया सुप्रीम कोर्ट, तो इसका सीधा मतलब यही होगा की Date Extend नहीं करेंगे वो चाहे कुछ भी हो जाए

Ma’am @nsitharaman The current due date for filing TAR is insufficient and unrealistic, with just 14 days between non-audit ITR & TAR due date. Request for a TIMELY #extend_TAR_Due_Date on priority in line with past practice, so CAs get adequate time for quality compliance.

This year CBDT has created an unnecessary hassle by not extending Tax audit due date suo motto when it extended non audit #Incometax returns due date by 45 days to 15th September on 27th May 2025.

The situation created by CBDT of giving only 15 days for filing of Tax audit reports itself is the highest level of blunder when Act allows 2 months , they are expecting for a run rate of 72 per over which is absurd and insane.

The Incometax portal is working abnormally, which we saw from 11 th to 15th September as readily evident from fall in the number of returns and tax audit reports filed afterwards.

Hope better sense will prevail and they will resolve the anomaly created because low filing of #Taxaudit reports itself is evident. The more the delay, the more apathy evident.
