A powerful conclusion at #COP29Azerbaijan! @DrNMaduekwe, Nigeria's Focal Point and Director General of @NCCCNigeria, delivered a compelling statement that resonated with hope and commitment for developing countries. #ClimateAction#COP29#Nigeria
I paid an unscheduled visit to Debola Akin-Bright at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH).
After listening to Debola’s mum and the medical officers in charge of his care, I gave him my word that I would not only take over his medical care and expenses, I would also ensure that everything is done to get him better, and back at home with his loved ones.
I am committed to providing efficient, safe, and sustainable public transportation for our citizens. That's why I'm excited to be discussing clean energy projects with the Swedish envoy, Ms. Annika Hahn-Englund and the Japanese ambassador, Mr Matsunaga Kazuyoshi who paid courtesy visits today.
Our commitment to sustainable development means we are always looking for innovative solutions to reduce our carbon footprint and increase the sustainability of our investment in transportation infrastructure and services.
Working with a leading Swedish partner, a feasibility study of the capacity of the Lagos Metropolitan Area Transport Authority which is currently ongoing will help us achieve this goal.
This will also translate to how seamlessly we diversify from our use of fossil fuels to clean energy that will reduce emissions as well as improve the quality of the environment. We are currently providing modern infrastructure around three transportation models; waterways, road and rail.
Lagos is always open for business. We welcome the interest and believe it will lead to increased investment and partnership opportunities that align with our vision of a cleaner, safer, and more efficient transportation network.
As we continue to explore circular economy projects and sustainable development initiatives with our partners in Japan as well, I am confident that Lagos will remain a key player leading across different metrics and milestones in Africa.
Let's build a brighter future for Lagos together!
Every little effort counts and matters.
Which of these efforts describes how you should dispose your recyclables after use?

Here is some one that was born and bred over there but chooses to extol the positive sides of Nigeria. There is a great lesson to learn here, there is no where like home, you will always remain a second class citizen in another country, don’t throw your country under the bus for
