@MelJRey Ps, on strange plants, I’m visiting Pompei and the tour guide said poison olleander is planted all around us and Romans used to poison folks with it. Seems weird to be decorative and useful 😂 (only as a Fantasy writing tool of course)

I don't watch a lot of TV, but when I pass through the family room when my wife is watching, I'll sometimes pause behind her on the couch to watch for a few seconds. She has started to get angry at me when I do, even if I don't ask any questions (which was her original complaint). No grace period at all any more. I'm not sure which one of us is in the wrong here! 🤣

Polished another page today (text bubbles hidden again for clarity). One of the trickier parts lately: deciding how to split layers in Clip Studio and then how much to fade or make things pop — like the mist outlines. For now, I’m liking the softer pull-back for a more atmospheric feel.

How do you approach atmospheric effects in your own work? 🙂 💨

Have begun polishing my Halloween Throne pitch package. Here’s page 9 with some spruce and sparkle added (dialogue bubbles removed to see the art better). The original Pitchfest version was a bit of a rushed, illness-hazed flurry, so it feels good to give a proper polish now.
