I was excited to attend the grand opening of the new and improved Alley Pond Golf Center, which is ready to welcome golf enthusiasts to eastern Queens. I thank NYC Parks and Knox Golf Academy for their work and collaboration to transform this popular recreation center.
From public safety to education to energy bills, there was no topic that went uncovered.
Grateful to spend the evening addressing area concerns with @CMvpaladino, the @NYPD109Pct, the @NYPD111Pct and all our city agency partners. This is how we build stronger communities.

Here we are with Rich McLaughlin, (Music) Program Director for WFUV Public Radio, our favorite music radio station! It was a quiet moment behind us as there were over 4,000 visitors at the Queens Botanical Garden.
Yesterday, I held a press conference where Eastern #Queens civics, homeowners, and elected officials showed up in numbers to say, "No to City of Yes." By all accounts, the Mayor & City Council are moving forward with the housing plan, despite significant opposition. (1/3)
The @CB11Q@NYBloodCenter blood drive at @kcsnewyork on Sat. was a huge success! Shout-out to 3rd V. Chair & Public Relations Cmte Chair Fleur Martino for her leadership and to CB member David White for spearheading intake; CB member Seihee Ryu also volunteered her time. (1/2)
The Board and Staff of CB11 mourn the untimely and tragic loss of former Council Member Paul Vallone. Throughout his 8 years in the City Council, Paul always worked hard to fund our district and see to the well being of its residents.
He worked with all of the CB11 Chairs through his time in office. He leaves behind a young family and a legacy of public service. We will always remember him fondly and express our deepest condolences to his extended family at this difficult time.
Paul Vallone was the epitome of a public servant, a true champion for Northeast Queens and an unrelenting advocate for veterans.
But more than anything, Paul was a loving husband, a proud father and a loyal friend to everyone who — like me — had the honor of knowing him. (1/3)
There are no credible threats to Queens at this time, but we're asking everyone in the borough to remain vigilant tomorrow regarding potential unrest.
As I said to the dozens of Jewish leaders from across Queens whom I met with today, we have your back.
