Can't help but appreciate a simple mid-block approach that involves every player from front to back.

This is a snapshot of Wellington's defensive efforts against Victory, zonal focus before jumping when it's clear they'll have an advantage.

— Najjarine stays really disciplined throughout this whole sequence, he's in a 50-50 position between the inside passing lane and Lino (LB). He isn't attracted to Valadon's movement either, this won't hurt them as much as the higher players between the lines.

— Rufer is ready to squeeze the ball-side and Piper shifting across to Valadon is Eze's trigger to move onto the far-side 6. This is extremely important, how many times do you see one of the 9's just strolling and creating holes to exploit on the switch of play?

— 5v4 near the touchline and Victory cannot progress. The close proximity for Wellington means it's also easier to pass over players who shift/rotate.
