Thoughts…..

I wanted to confirm my understanding of the current political scenario that raises some significant concerns about democratic integrity in Canada.

As it stands right now, we're in a situation where an unelected Carney has become Prime Minister, despite holding no seat in Parliament.. ever. Carney, takes office following the resignation of Trudeau. During Trudeaus’ Prorogation of Parliament, Trudeau has completed appointing 100 of the 105 Senate seats, consolidating control of the upper chambers of our Government.

Simultaneously, there are rumblings online, and videos from party leaders alluding that three or four of the major parties (NDP, Green, and possibly the Bloc) should form a coalition with the Libs, which would essentially reinforce the currently unelected Carney's position.
Singh also seems to be walking back his promise of a non-confidence vote when Parliament resumes (shocker).

This situation, in my view, creates a highly undemocratic concentration of power, sidelining any current or future official opposition. While weakening the role and foundational purpose of the Senate.

These moves risk turning Canada into a de facto one-party system, undermining the principles of election legitimacy, accountability, and checks and balances.
- all in the name of saving democracy of course (lol!). 😂

The decline of Canada, I fear, has just been kicked into overdrive. I don’t think it matters who wins or loses. Canada is cooked.

I had a similar experience.

Covid itself was nothing. I got the OG Wuhan strain before vaccines were out.

J&J vaccine hurt my arm, but otherwise nothing.

But the mRNA booster hit extremely hard. Massive chest pain. Felt like I got hit by a truck. Almost went to hospital.

That said, synthetic mRNA has a lot of potential to cure cancer and other diseases. Research should continue.
