Tre Donaldson is definitely a player who needs to be on the radar of NBA teams prior to the NBA Draft.
Sources tell me he has worked out so far with the Knicks, Warriors, Clippers, Spurs, Suns, Pistons and Jazz.
Donaldson a 6’3 198lb PG had a standout season running the show in Coral Gables. He averaged 16.4 PPG along with 5.7 AST and 3.6 REB. He paired those numbers with splits of 45/36/77.
Tre is a very versatile guard. He can score on all 3 levels. Finishes at the rim at a high rate at 59% and is a super physical driver. Donaldson a former football player uses a mix of physicality along with finesse around the hoop. He is super hard to stop when he gets 2 feet into the paint.
He scores and facilitates well off the PnR too. Makes really good reads and doesn’t not force much. A great decision maker, who can put good pressure on the rim.
Donaldson is a much improved shooter. The shot progressed as a shooter and really became a reliable catch and shooter. His shooting ability really makes Donaldson a threat on/off the ball which is incredibly important in NBA Guards.
Donaldson lastly is a gritty defender. Tre was a former football player and you can definitely see it in his game. He fights over screens well and is a reliable point of attack defender.
Donaldson no doubt is an NBA player. A incredible winner who has done nothing but improve over his four years college career. I am certain he will be a steal wherever he goes.
Billy Richmond III coming back to Arkansas for his junior season is so good for the game of College Basketball.
Richmond was a guy who could’ve stayed in the draft but ultimately I think could benefit from another year. This Arkansas team will be must see this season and Richmond is a big reason why.
At 6’6 205 Richmond is a beast. Can jump out of the gym but can also blow by defenders with a super explosive first step. Richmond is super physical with a super high motor.
Richmond is a defensive menace. Is such a versatile defender and can mostly guard 1-3 with the occasional 4 man as well. He is just so physical and plays with such a chip on his shoulder that you can be comfortable 1-4 with Richmond. Richmond is also a good rebounder for his size with 4.3 per game this past season.
Richmond offensively is mostly a rim finisher. Plays off the catch and also is the recipient of many lobs especially in transition. He shot 73% at the rim this season which is awesome with 38 dunks to add on that as well. Where he has question marks is the jumpshot. Shot 26% from 3 this season but shot 78% from the free throw. It’s hard to project him right now as a shooter but I have hope for him.
Billy Goat is awesome, an electric player who is so good for the game. It’s going to be an epic team in Fayetteville this season.

Tom Izzo and Michigan State hasn’t had the loudest off season portal wise but the Spartans have one of the more exciting rosters next season in all of CBB.
Returning Jeremy Fears Jr is huge for Sparty. One of if not the best guard in all of CBB. Elite playmaker who will be the motor behind the offense and run the show in East Lansing. Wouldn’t be surprised to see him as a National Player of the Year finalist when it’s all said and done.
Jordan Scott + Cam Ward + Kur Teng are all huge pieces to the puzzle as well. Also not to mention Kaleb Glenn who missed out all of last season with injury. All these guys will add tremendous depth on the wing. Definitely saw offensive ability from Jordan Scott too towards the end of last season, if he takes another leap he could easily be a 10 PPG + scorer.
Coen Carr returning is also huge. The forward is a huge piece to the puzzle. He will need to shoot it a little bit better this year but will also most likely see more of an inside role with the departure of Jaxson Kohler and Carson Cooper. Carr will likely play alongside transfer center Anton Bonke.
The freshman is what make this team so exciting. A top 5 class in the country, with 4 four star recruits. Starting with the guards Carlos Medlock Jr and Jasaih Jervis.
Medlock Jr will be a huge scoring boost for the Spartans. I believe he will step in and make instantly contribute off the bench as a spark plug scorer who can also be a menace defensively. A perfect fit on a Tom Izzo led team.
Jasiah Jervis will also be a huge offensive punch for Sparty. A really good shooter with a good frame but somebody who is still a little bit raw. Has a ton of upside especially being developed by Tom Izzo.
Now moving onto the bigs first off with Julius Avent. At 6’7 220 Avent will be an inside out big. Can stretch the floor a little bit but he really likes to get into the post and beat people down. A super physical guy who will fit well in Michigan States system.
Ethan Taylor lastly is probably the most intriguing guy on this squad. A 7 footer with a great feel for the game. I think he will make an elite PnR threat with Jeremy Fears. An elite athlete with real skill for a 7 footer.
Michigan State once again doesn’t wow you when you look at the portal. But don’t be surprised when a lot of these freshman come in and shock the world. Michigan State has once again a really fun roster under the great Tom Izzo.

I really like the addition of Shon Abaev to Florida St for head coach Luke Loucks.
Really big at 6’8 210lbs has a really filled out frame but also has some incredible athletic traits. It’s hard to turn down that type of size in an elite scoring guard.
Abaev can score at a high level. He has the ability to score at all 3 levels and do so at a high level. He can shoot off the catch or off the bounce when it comes to 3 point range. I think he really can be a go to bucket getter for FSU and a guy they can rely on to pick up a big chunk of the scoring.
Abaev has some of the best scoring potential in the whole entire country. Abaev and Kameron Taylor could form one of the more fun duos in all of the ACC this upcoming season.

Jalen Reece going to Texas A&M is one of the bigger steals in all of the transfer portal this season. The freshman had to step up big time when Dedan Thomas Jr went down with injury. 👇
-
Reece will most likely be a backup behind Haggerty and Warren. Reece will also take the backcourt with Tyshawn Archie backing up with him.
-
Reece this past season averaged 5.8 PPG 1.8 REB 3.6AST and 1 steal per game. The splits were not great at 36/30/72 but I fully expect him to shoot it better with year 1 under his belt now.
-
Reece is a really good ball handler who limited his turnovers in a primary ball handler role. He is very comfortable at shooting off the dribble and can break people down well in half court sets. Has the ability to make 3s off the bounce but also off the catch, 60% assisted on 3s this season.
-
Reece gets to the hoop well and finished at 50% at the rim. Being 6 feet tall he uses a lot of touch around the rim and can finish at uncomfortable angles. Reece really has good feel at the rim and uses his body and speed really well.
-
I think overall he can be a great fit in Bucky’s fast paced system. He really has a ton of potential as a transition player especially with the court vision he possesses. Super excited to watch this guard unit of A&M and especially Jalen Reece.

Clemson is reportedly the frontrunner to land David Fuchs a 6’9 transfer forward from San Francisco could be a major impact player in Brad Brownell’s system. 👇
Fuchs at 6’9 245lbs is a bruiser in the paint. Finished at the rim at a 60% rate on a heavy diet down low. Plays a lot in the post and has a superb feel and touch around the rim. Uses a lot of different finishes and has really good footwork and has a knack for drawing fouls where he shot 65% at the charity stripe.
-
Fuchs is also a super good rebounder. He has good positional awareness and IQ which aids him in grabbing rebounds. He got 7.8 rebounds per game at San Francisco with 2.3 on the offensive end.
-
Fuchs also showed ability to stretch the floor, he shot 30% from the 3 on very little attempts but he is respected from out there which aids him in playing off the bounce.
-
Fuchs could be a great pickup for Clemson if they end up landing him.

Clemson’s Dallas Thomas will be on my watchlist to take a jump in the 2026-2027 season. The 6’9 180lb wing should have played a lot more this season.
Thomas is an elite shooter who moves well without the ball in his hands. Showed ability to be an elite catch and shooter and also a movement shooter.
Would like to see more development from him as a driver/perimeter defender but overall I think he can be a really productive player for Clemson and a building block in a young core for Clemson.
Really talented young wing, the sky is the limit for Thomas.

London Jemison was a player I was super intrigued by last season at Alabama. I think he could be one of the more valuable 3nD wings in all of college basketball in this upcoming season. Could also see a world where he is in draft conversations next year come June.
-
Jemison at 6’8 205lbs shows real versatility on the court. He is very well equipped to play at the 4 but also can seamlessly play the 3 as well. He has really good hands defensively and pairs that with his athleticism to be a real plus defender. I really like his mobility and the motor he plays with night in and night out. Just moves so well for a guy his size.
-
Jemison really just needs to continue to shoot the ball and do so with confidence. He shot 35% from deep this year on 2.7 attempts per game. He has a fairly smooth and quick release as well.
-
Jemison is just an overall smart player. I love how he doesn’t overplay his role. He doesn’t try to do too much and force things he just lets the game flow. Makes the right plays and does the dirty work. Jemison is the type of player that is so valued in today’s game, great size, shooting and defense. Cannot wait to watch him at Alabama this upcoming season!

Patton Pinkins is a guy who I expect to take a huge year 2 leap for Ole Miss. The 6’5 guard had a solid freshman season and showed a ton of upside!👇
-
The former 4 star recruit out of Murfreesboro Tennessee posted averages of 9.3 PPG 2 REB on splits of 47/42/86. He had a 26 point outing @ Auburn and a 25 point outing @ Oklahoma.
-
Patton is a knockdown 3 point shooter with great size. At 6’5 200lbs Pinkins knocked down 43 3 pointers on the season. Lot of catch and shoot looks (93% assisted) but showed some flashes at times of creating off the bounce especially off of PnR action and some in isolation.
-
Pinkins can be a true 3 level scorer when given the opportunity. Showed really good feel in the PnR game and shot the ball well from the mid range (45%) and also finished really strong at the rim at 66% but was fairly limited on attempts (32) around the rim but showed really good touch and poise.
-
The combination of size and scoring ability is just super intriguing. He has so much upside as a on/off ball guard. He will be on my watch as an All SEC type player next season at Ole Miss!
#CBBCarter
Franck Kepnang is a huge pickup for Mark Pope and the Kentucky Wildcats. Kepnang was one of the best remaining bigs in the transfer portal. The 6’11 big man from Cameroon was granted a waiver to play his final season of college basketball for Kentucky.👇
-
Kepnang had a productive season for Washington this last year. He started 25 games for the Huskies and put up 6.2 PPG 6.3 REB 2.1 BLK. At 6’11 253lbs Kepnang is a physical force down low.
-
The draw with Franck is his physical traits and rim protection. He was second in blocks this year in the B10 right behind Michigan big man Aday Mara and 3rd total. He moves really well and plays with a high motor.
-
Kepnang also adds great rebounding ability. He is super active on both ends of the glass, averaged 2.5 offensive rebounds per game this year as well which is something Kentucky lacked this past year. He should be a menace for Kentucky on the glass and somebody they can count on.
-
Lastly the offensive end of the game for Kepnang is nothing spectacular. A PnR threat who finished with 18 dunks and somebody who can occasionally take you down to the post and finish with some touch. But overall he isn’t going to be a dynamic scoring big man. He is going to feed of off Zoom Diallo and Alex Wilkins in the PnR and really strive as a lob/play finisher.
-
Kepnang if healthy can be a force for Kentucky this upcoming year. Really like this pickup for Mark Pope and the Wildcats.
#CBBCarter
Trey Green was not talked about enough this past season for St Louis. The Sophomore guard broke onto the scene this season as one of the better shooters in the whole country.👇
-
Green posted averages of 10.7 PPG 2.9 REB and 1.7 AST. Also had splits of 46/44/86. He exploded for back to back 23 point games this past season vs Dayton and GW.
-
Green is an absolute sniper from deep. He finished 2nd in the A10 in 3 point percentage (behind his teammate Brady Dunlap) and finished 2nd in total makes with 92! Green showed ability as not only a catch and shoot guy but also as a movement shooter. Whether it was relocating and catching or flying off screens Green did it at a high rate. Where Green really flashed a ton was off the bounce as well. Showed creation off the bounce and also showed deep range creation.
-
Green was an incredible shooter all season who did not get enough flowers for how good he was. I cannot wait to watch him and Ishan Sharma next season for Josh Schertz and St Louis!
#CBBCarter
Akai Fleming will be a guy I keep tabs on this upcoming year for Cincinnati.
-
Fleming in his freshman season at Georgia Tech averaged 10.4 PPG 3.2 REB 1.3 AST. He posted splits of 37/33/81. Not great splits overall but definitely optimism they will improve this upcoming season.
-
Fleming is a really intriguing defender. At 6’4 184lbs he has a really good frame and is very athletic. Moved his feet well and showed good anticipation on the defensive end of the ball as a true freshman.
-
He has a ton of talent on the offensive side of the ball well. He took a lot of outside shots but he showed the ability to get downhill with ease at times. He finished at 47% at the rim this past year on 96 attempts. He has a really strong handle and a nice looking jump shot to pair with his handle.
-
The offensive talent is very evident with Fleming. I can see him taking a leap for Jerrod Calhoun. He will pair with a super talented group of guards for Cincinnati which will be one of the more exciting units in the whole country!
#CBBCarter
I really like the pickup of Naas Cunningham for Jacksonville St. Originally stated off at Alabama before landing at UNLV this past season. Former top 50 recruit.
-
At 6’7 I’m really intrigued with Cunningham as a scorer. Really fluid and has a smooth looking jumpshot and has shown flashes as a movement shooter. Honestly can see a little Jaron Pierre Jr in his game as well.
-
The tools are undeniable for Cunningham and I think he can really flourish in Ray Harper’s system.
