Did you ever learn a second (or third, or fourth) language? Did you master it? (or has high school French faded alongside trigonometry)
Today we're sharing language learning stories with @MinDhariwal and @kdawson70 on the show.

Tell us yours!

[Ed Jay @patrickbpenguin]

@CBCRadioActive @MinDhariwal @staceybrotzel Earl’s original guacamole. I was a cook there many moons ago and made it enough times that it’s permanently etched into my head. I’ve tweaked it to suit my personal tastes but it’s solid. Cumin is what takes it up a notch IMO.

[CBC Radio Active @CBCRadioActive]

Today we're talking tried and true recipes. What is your go to, and where did you find it?

Shawny texted us this picture of some well loved recipe pages(?) they've had for years. (You can serve us up some French Fried Onion Rings for SURE).

Whats your go to #yeg?

[The Real Mark B In SLC @MarkBinSLC]

@staceybrotzel @CBCRadioActive Almost 30 years ago we compiled a family cookbook with favorite recipes from my grandmas, aunts, siblings, etc. Because they are favorites they are recipes you can rely on to work every time. It's a treasure now because several of the contributors have now passed away.

[stacey brotzel @staceybrotzel]

UP FOR DISCUSSION: what is your 'go-to' cook book? Or do you even use cook books anymore? Do you get all your recipes online?
