@AnthonyEnjoyer2 @NHLBruins This is one of the B’s fatal flaws… Always looking for the perfect pass to set up the perfect shot. They need to learn that simple hockey of just dumping pucks at the net works, especially with someone like Bobrovski.
You can’t score goals if you’re not taking shots.
@mjc0961 @SolientArt @JimSterling White knighting for a game company is nonsense. Especially when modern games release broken, buggy, and missing content that later gets drip fed for more money. Most of these companies make billions in microtransactions, but they can't afford to make a $60 game. ::rolls eyes::
@JimSterling I never understood your take on this. Sony, the masters of exclusivity, constantly gatekeeping content from others is now kicking & screaming, trying to get anyone to side w/ them against Microsoft for fear of possibly being excluded. He who lives in a glass house...
@SamblixTTV@jasonschreier Bud, don’t forget that the manner in which she handled this, essentially tainted/stained the Bayonetta brand, and Platinum Games. Plus, Jennifer Hale incurred backlash for taking up the role, too. Was that fair? Reap what you sow…
@tokotamer@BamboozledTwice@JefDrouin@G27Status It’s interpretation is entirely subjective. People use “live service” but maybe should use “games as a service”. If there’s an aim to provide a constant flow of monetized content, it’s a game as a service regardless if it’s online or not. That’s just my take on it.
@comiXology This app is hot garbage with the new update. A permanently delete option just below the download option. Really? Good job allowing Amazon to butcher a once great app. Guess I won’t be using this anymore.
@Taskmaster908@JimSterling You beat me to it... I feel like this is influenced heavily by Tencent. They claim to be a "hands off" investor, but I find that hard to believe.
@boyohoyo1 @HairHonda@EscoAlmighty@NextGenPlayer I don’t watch Twitch, but good on you for assuming. I’m also not going to argue about the correct use of straw man with someone who uses “bruh” so yeah, whatever, you win.
@StonedGamer6591 @boyohoyo1 @HairHonda@EscoAlmighty@NextGenPlayer Bud, you know exactly what I meant. Yes, PS did backwards compatibility first, but if you ask any gamer what brand comes to mind when you hear “backwards compatibility,” I’d bet most, if not all, would say Xbox. Sony is now trying replicate the level of BC support as Xbox.
@boyohoyo1 @HairHonda@EscoAlmighty@NextGenPlayer You have to admit, that’s a straw man argument. Microsoft allows you to play on console, PC, and mobile, so naturally, the PS5 will outsell Series S/X. And yet, Sony is trying to copy everything MS. A streaming service, porting to PC, and now backwards compatibility.
@YongYea 2/2 Microsoft should honor all current contractual obligations, which they likely will do that... But after that, Microsoft owes Sony nothing.
@YongYea What's somewhat amusing is Sony had no issue snubbing Xbox with acquiring exclusive features (remember Spec Ops as PS only for a year, y'know, the life cycle of a CoD game), but now that they could be on the receiving end, Sony has something to say about exclusivity. 1/2
@PG_Croat@GameOverGreggy Sony wouldn't plan to mimic GamePass if it wasn't affecting them in some way. The idea that sales figures of a console is a measure of success is a bit irrelevant when Xbox games can be played on console, PC, or via their cloud service on a mobile device.
