Yesterday, I successfully defended my PhD thesis. A long difficult but always joyful journey. I loved working on the interface of different disciplines where I met inspiring scientists from engineering, biology and computer science. I wonder what comes next 🙂.
Very excited about our latest preprint from colab with @ReskiLab. We combined machine learning and simulations to investigate structure-function relationship in protein net and showed how FtsZ inhibits adaptive stability.

Trigger points do not alter the dimensionality of control while influencing muscle synergies, in certain conditions. GRANDE @totomash and the coauthors, it's been quite a ride :)
What are we writing next?

Very excited to be spending the next 3 month at @mcgillu and @shrinershosp as a guest researcher working on further development of our deep learning-based method for analyisng #osteogenesisimperfectia images, made possible by @SimTechStuttga2 and @CBMStuttgart.
Received very motivational feedback on my presentation of our designed deep neural network as a bone age assessment method in #ESB2019 . If you couldn't catch the session take a look at our preprint https://t.co/ZJp0yzOvTN
This is the tweet we have been waiting for! Come on everybody: there is also several PhD positions with us! f! Please consider to forward this to your most talented students :) @CBMStuttgart
Very excited that the preprint of our work on using deep learning to investigate skeletal maturation & load-induced rejuvenation as the first step towards an AI-based bone quality assessment is out:
