Today we signed The Customs Reform Executive Order, putting America First for trade enforcement. It protects domestic industry from unfair competition, holds bad actors accountable, and reinforces that economic security is national security.

.@CBP mourns the loss of Border Patrol Agent Sean M. McDonough.

BPA McDonough started his CBP career in 2007. He recently served at the Wellesley Island Border Patrol Station, Buffalo Sector in New York. He also served in Nogales Station and in Houlton Sector. BPA McDonough also served in the U.S. Army, Army National Guard, and as a Military Police Officer.

He is a true hero who selflessly served to protect America.

As a CBP family, we extend our deepest condolences to the family, friends and colleagues of BPA McDonough.

The Beagle Brigade is a team of highly trained detection dogs working with U.S. Customs and Border Protection. Using their powerful sense of smell, these beagles inspect luggage and cargo at ports of entry to detect prohibited agricultural products, invasive pests, and diseases.
