Millions of Americans visit the nation’s capital every year, but most do not know that our 700,000 residents have no voting rights or self-government.

Last week the Kiplinger Research Library welcomed 50 students from @CBRSatAU joined by Dr. George Derek Musgrove, co-author of "Chocolate City," and D.C. educator Jessica Rucker. We can't wait to see what projects these community-focused scholars will produce.
Congratulations to all of our CBR Scholars and CBR Certificate students who are graduating this weekend! We will miss you and can't wait to see what is next for you! ❤️
This year our scholars were able to explore the question "What does it mean to be educated?" in and out of the classroom. Be sure to check out their class blog to look at some of the work they've done this semester to further think about that question.
