This week our FCA team had the privilege of Megan Rouse, the President of the CHS FCA Team last year, joining us virtually for our team meeting. During a Q&A between her and Coach Phillips, we had the opportunity to learn about Megan’s experience and involvement in FCA.

Looking back, Megan is truly thankful for the discipline and lifestyle she maintained as a Christian and student-athlete. She encourages the FCA Team to continue to stay connected and proactive, and to not remain silent but to be a voice to the school.

Today we celebrate the life and legacy of a champion of Christ, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr! MLK stood steadfast in the face of trial, persevered through hardships, and took peaceful action to evoke necessary change.

Keep your mouth clean, do not dishonor the Lord through corrupt speech. Do not belittle any wrong word, joke, or swear. They are meaningful and are harmful to our morals and intentions. If you wouldn't want God hearing you, maybe don't say it.

Even when we doubt what the future brings, God finds ways to subtly remind us He’s in control. Don’t worry, He’s got it!
