Our snowfall projection map remains unchanged from yesterday's projections. The snow will taper off later tonight as the system will be moving at a fairly fast pace. Most place see a plowable snowfall with lowest amounts to the north and west

Enough confidence at this point where we feel there's a good chance of a moderate snowfall Sun PM-Sun night for the Cap Reg and points S / E. Lesser amounts W / N. A fast moving low pressure wave will likely form in the Southeast tonight and move off the New Eng. coast Sun night

If sky conditions cooperate and it appears they should for the most part, ( some evening clouds around and an early shower in spots ) the Perseid Meteor shower will be peaking late Sunday into early Mon. morning. As always the best viewing is where skies are darker
