HBO and A24 are officially co-producing a 6-part 'BATMAN' detective series directed by Robert Eggers.
The project will reportedly be an R-rated, highly stylized period piece set in 1920s Gotham with zero CGI.
Tim Allen and Martin Lawrence were meant to stay completely in character during this scene, but their natural comedic chemistry quickly made that difficult. Once the crew began laughing, the entire mood shifted, and suddenly it felt less like two actors following a script and more like two comedians bouncing off each other in the moment.
What makes the clip even better is how effortlessly they played off one another. Every pause, reaction, and perfectly timed delivery seemed to make it harder for them to keep straight faces. The result was the kind of spontaneous comedy that’s nearly impossible to recreate.
Sometimes the funniest moments on a movie set aren’t written into the script. They happen when the chemistry is so good that even the actors and crew can’t stop themselves from laughing.
It's a crime against humanity that we not only have not gotten a sequel or updated animated series for Static, but we also haven't gotten any movies or games either.
He's one of the best characters in DC/Milestone history and he gets absolute dust. Shit ain't right man.
