Went into a cafe at Shin-Osaka station to get strawberry French toast they were advertising, only to be hit with a limited morning menu 🫠🫠 so I got toast, no French

It turns out my employer from three years ago filed a missed payment alert that got sent to the city moved to, and then sent to Tokyo where it finally caught up to me.

Plot twist: I had paid those taxes.

So they recalculated the bill and took a 0 off the end of the total 🥹

Visiting the city office tomorrow to sort out tax stuff is going to go one of 3 ways:
1. They recalculate the bill properly
2. They give me the extra 4mil yen they think I should have
3. They tear up the bill because the taxes have already been deducted from my paychecks
