@DrOzCMS Sure would be nice to abolish the Medicaid spend down. It makes no sense. My husband was getting paid to be my son’s caregiver, but when his SSI increased, my son was changed to a Medicaid spend down. Now, my husband doesn’t get paid, my son’s disability doesn’t cover his 1/1

Report Your Parents Hotline

This amendment was inserted into the conference committee report of the Michigan School Aid bill (HB 5503 CR-1) today. The conference committee report is expected to be voted on immediately in the House and Senate with no testimony allowed.

This amendment would allow ISDs to establish a tip hotline for students to anonymously report parents who improperly store a firearm. While we all support responsible firearms storage, this is the type of thing we'd expect to see from a totalitarian police state.
