@Deenamadams When my son was about 3, he became obsessed with the presidents. His favorite was Dwight Eisenhower, because "he smiles" in every picture. I bought him a tiny "I like Ike" shirt, which was HUGELY popular with the Baby Boomer crowd. ;)

@SarahJWMeade We love Mr. Putter and Tabby! (And I love how an entire children's series stars an old man!). We're well into the Mercy Watson series, as well as the human spin-off books.
