Farmers sort harvested seed potatoes into three categories: large, medium, and small before storing them in the cooperative warehouse, ensuring quality seed management for future production.

In general, Beyond seed potato production, the farmers practice crop rotation by growing wheat and other crops, helping to improve soil fertility and ensure sustainable agricultural production.

Yesterdays, the cooperative successfully planted irish potato plantlets from RAB-Musanze Station in its greenhouse. The plantlets will produce quality mini-tubers for future seed multiplication.
