BREAKING: President Biden torches Republicans during a public victory lap for the anniversary of his historic Inflation Reduction Act — a piece of legislation that has already emerged as one of the most consequential in modern history.

The president pointed out that while the IRA has been hugely successful "it fell entirely to Democrats to deliver it" because not a single Republican voted for it.

"Republicans have repeatedly tried to repeal key parts of the Inflation Reduction Act, including the Speaker of the House now," said Biden.

He then went for the jugular, pointing out that Republicans are now "taking credit for the billions of dollars in private investments and thousands of jobs coming into their states."

“That’s OK. I ran for president, I said I’d represent all Americans. And like I said at the State of the Union, I’ll see you at the groundbreaking," Biden added.

Republicans want credit for Biden's policies but refused to support them because they will always oppose Biden even if it means hurting the American people.

Already, the IRA has created 170,000 clean energy jobs and is projected to create an additional 1.5 million over the next decade while also drastically cutting carbon emissions.

Crucially, the Inflation Reduction Act also did exactly what its name implies. A year ago, inflation was at 8.3%. Now, it's down to 3.2% thanks to Biden.
