It's the Lantern - or Shangyuan - Festival, at the end of the celebrations for Chinese Lunar New Year!

Master Drawings is a quarterly magazine focused on Western draftsmanship since the Renaissance.
Number 1, 2023, is all about French drawings. Jacque-Louis David and Paul Cezanne are discussed, as well as some less well-known artists, such as Carême de Fécamp and Léon Bonvin.

Go see 'Barbara Sawyer: the warp of Camberwell' just installed in the Camberwell College of Art Library!
The show explores how Barbara Sawyer changed the way Textiles was taught in the School through her own experimental artistic and collaborative practices.

Just to let you know the the access issue has been resolved and the library at LCF will be open again from 2pm today. Apologies for any inconvenience caused!
Spring's issue of Tate Etc. includes essays about the shows at Tates Modern and Britain about Hilma Af Klimt and Piet Mondrian, and about Lynette Yiadom-Boakye.
There's also a short interview with Public Enemy's Chuck D, who as well as being a rapper, is a visual artist.
