@Taco_the_Train The point of the starter box is it’s for beginners in the hobby. That’s why the models are mostly easy to build as well. They don’t want a beginner bod to have too many human faces to paint. Besides, you’d have to add another 3 guard units to that box to match the Ork’s on points

@tlark8 It’s good, I’m glad it’s not absurd as paying points for each individual pistol. It just allows balancing of different primary weapons. I think I’ve ran my Riptide’s heavy burst cannon once just because the ion accelerator is just better. Since it’s cheaper, I may use it now.

@HistoryMjr76 @TGrudges GW seems to plan releases years in advance. Odds are Steel Legion were already planned but released the concept art to settle screeching fans. They probably wanted to wait a bit since Guard just had a pretty big release with 10ths Armageddon campaign.

@localcommissar @SquidVovoide Not necessarily, they are very efficient in production and have a complete understanding of their technology, how to make and improve it. Plus they annex just as many world diplomatically as they do militarily leaving that planet’s infrastructure and people intact.
