Last Saturday, our Community Emergency Response Team (CERT), along with Sagadahoc County CERT, assisted Cape Elizabeth EMA with the Beach to Beacon Race. Our teams helped ensure the safety of over 6,000 runners and 10,000 visitors for the largest race in Maine! Great work CERT!

As part of the Response Ready: Public Safety UAS Conference, pilots practiced their search and rescue skills with Warden Coombs. It was a windy day, but our pilots persevered and "rescued" our "lost" individuals!
