Restorative Practice Training at Copper: This is an approach in resolving conflict and preventing harm. Restorative approaches enable the victim to convey the impact of the harm to those responsible, and for those responsible to acknowledge this and take steps to make it right.

6th grade students look on as Rainbow Trout eggs are placed in an aquarium. Students will observe the fish as they hatch and grow before releasing them in late Spring. The Trout in the Classroom program was made possible by donation made by Cargil Salt. Thank you!
Around 3 p.m. CCES went into Lockout due to suspicious activity outside the school. In a lockout, everyone returns inside the school and all exterior doors are locked. Classes continue as normal. The Lockout today was done as a precautionary measure with no immediate danger.
Devon Lucie from the Good 4 Utah weather team visited Copper Canyon Elementary's 6th grade students today. Devon's midday weather report was done live while students learned more about weather fronts and high/low pressures.
