There is a lot of hype around the four-time Tony-nominated Broaway show Giant.
But the heart of the play has many Jewish and Israeli themes, including rising antisemitism, the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, Jewish connection to Israel and casual antisemitic topes held in elite entertainment and cultrual institutions.

More examples of how the general public embraced Israel’s @Eurovision performance this year.
While much of the media focuses on stories of anger, controversy, and division surrounding the Jewish state, we are committed to highlighting a different reality: the overwhelming support, warmth, and appreciation that Israelis received throughout the competition and in its aftermath.
These moments matter. They remind us that beyond the headlines, millions of people across Europe and around the world connected with Israel’s music, talent, and story.
A great video that highlights how little many people understand about the Jewish community.
Some Jews may be perceived as white. Others, like award-winning rapper Drake, are not.
Jews are not a monolith. They come from diverse ethnic, racial, and geographic backgrounds. You cannot place all Jews into a single category.

Another European venue has drawn a line. Italian authorities canceled a planned Kanye West concert after concerns from the Jewish community and growing backlash over his history of antisemitic remarks and praise for Adolf Hitler. Officials cited public safety risks and potential protests, showing that more institutions are refusing to normalize hate or give it a stage.
Music platforms are becoming a megaphone for terrorists. A new report found hundreds of songs across major streaming services that glorify Hamas, celebrate terrorism, and promote violence against Jews, Israel, and the United States. With some tracks reaching hundreds of thousands of streams, tech companies are failing to stop the spread of dangerous content that would never be tolerated if it targeted other communities.
Mutra becomes first kosher eatery to earn Michelin Star.
A cute video showing chef Raz Shabtai and his team crying, cheering, and embracing as they learned they had officially earned one Michelin Star.
Congratulations to the entire team ♥️ We can’t wait to try the cuisine!
Polish filmmaker Michal Kosakowski says the October 7 Hamas massacre was “an act of Nazism” as he prepares to release Holofiction, a documentary exploring how the Holocaust has been portrayed in cinema. After spending eight years analyzing more than 3,000 films and TV series, Kosakowski warns that the horrors of the past are not as distant as many want to believe.
Absolutely disgraceful behavior from a self-proclaimed “activist.”
Harassing acclaimed actress Helen Mirren in the street for refusing to conform to anti-Israel intimidation tactics does nothing to help Palestinians.
We are seeing the same bullying campaign directed at anyone in Hollywood willing to speak out against antisemitism or show support for the Jewish community.
This harassment is not activism and it should never be normalized.
One of the clearest takeaways from the @Eurovision backlash against Israel is how many people openly stood with Israel and @NoamBettan despite the political pressure and hostility surrounding the competition.
The celebrity class and elite judges do not speak for the public. Millions across Europe and beyond are exhausted by the obsession with isolating the world’s only Jewish state.
How amazing!
Israeli NBA star Deni Avdija of the Portland Trail Blazers and @kylekuzma of the Milwaukee Bucks are partying together at a New York Jewish wedding ❤️
During such unstable times, moments of Jewish joy, unity, and celebration matter more than ever.

The legendary story of Frank Sinatra and how he came to support Israel.
In March 1948, Frank Sinatra quietly took part in a clandestine operation in New York to help secure arms for the future State of Israel.
With federal agents surveilling Haganah operatives under a U.S. arms embargo, Sinatra stepped in and reportedly carried a paper bag filled with $1 million in cash to pay for a ship loaded with munitions bound for Israel.
“It was the beginning of a young nation,” Sinatra later said. “I wanted to help.”
Jewish humor can be pretty dark sometimes 😬😹
A hilarious clip by @SimonBrodkin, a British Jewish comedian best known for his satirical character “Lee Nelson” and his viral political pranks targeting public figures and institutions.
In recent years, he has also spoken openly about antisemitism in the UK and the experience of being visibly Jewish in an increasingly hostile climate.
An incredible testimony from Taryn Thomas after visiting the Nova exhibit in Los Angeles, an experience that completely reshaped her understanding of October 7 and everything that followed.
The Nova exhibit tells the stories of the innocent people slaughtered by Hamas on October 7, simply for attending a music festival to dance, celebrate, and live freely.
Right now, the exhibit is open in London under heightened security after threats from pro-Palestinian groups became so severe that organizers were forced to keep the location anonymous.
Only by visiting exhibits like this, listening to survivors, and confronting the reality of October 7 firsthand can we begin to find common ground rooted in truth, humanity, and empathy.
The Lion and Sun flag is one of the oldest and most enduring symbols of Iranian national identity. It represented Iran long before the Islamic Republic seized power, and for millions of Iranians it remains the true flag of their nation.
FIFA is reportedly once again banning the Lion and Sun flag from World Cup stadiums in the United States, just as it did in Qatar, under the justification that only the current regime’s official state flag is permitted, while politically “rival” symbols are prohibited.
By banning this flag while elevating the iconography of the Islamic Republic as the sole acceptable representation of Iran, FIFA is silencing dissident voices and legitimizing authoritarian rule under the guise of “apolitical” policy.
If FIFA truly believes football belongs to the people, then it must stop policing the identity and expression of oppressed communities seeking to represent their nation, not its rulers.
The sad reality today: antisemites bully and target anyone who expresses support for Israel or the Jewish community, even during a singing competition.
We will continue exposing this ugly reality because silence only normalizes it. And on our watch, especially when artists are being targeted, that will never be acceptable.
It is getting exhausting listening to the same celebrities regurgitate Hamas talking points. Javier Bardem pretends to care about Palestinians while saying nothing about the main obstacle to ending their suffering: Hamas’s refusal to disarm.
Palestinians will never be liberated while they remain under the control of a terrorist organization that uses them as human shields and sacrifices their future to endless war. Those are the facts, whether Javier Bardem wants to acknowledge them or not.
Bottom line: There is a massive difference between what the public thinks, versus the elite and corrupt institutions think.
Israel won second place fair and square.
Nick Valensi, guitarist of The Strokes, will reportedly not join the band on its upcoming tour amid growing tensions with frontman Julian Casablancas. The fallout comes after Casablancas made controversial comments about “American Zionists,” while Valensi has previously spoken out publicly against antisemitism.
