I have accepted the resignation of Andre Boutros, my appointment to the California High Speed Rail Authority.
I am incredibly grateful for Andre’s leadership on HSR. His wealth of knowledge and experience have been a monumental asset to the Board. I wish him all the best.
This is really a standoff between Assembly leaders and other Democrats, most notably the governor and key senators. Also important to note that the impasse delays other transpo funding, too, projects that Newsom has attached to the HSR request.
