We can't think of a more fitting quote to share this #EarthDay.
Climate policies are in danger of being rolled back by Congress, funding for many clean energy projects has been suspended, and climate change continues to get worse ⬇️
The solar industry had a MAJOR year in 2024. It can be even bigger in 2025 if we keep the clean energy provisions in the Inflation Reduction Act.
Tag Republican members of Congress below to let them know we want these clean energy tax credits intact! ⬇️

We 💚 the Inflation Reduction Act! And we're not the only ones. This year, a growing group of Republican lawmakers have vocally supported the legislation's clean energy tax credits. It's a historic bill for America, and extremely important for the climate: https://t.co/QoDv3b7RTq

A few of our members did a great job tabling at the Campbell Farmer's Market on a recent weekend! In addition to engaging passersby on the work of CCL, they engaged them with the prompt, "Draw something you love in nature."🌳

🧵 with excerpts follows
I was glad to see @Sen_JoeManchin & @SenJohnBarrasso advance their strong, bipartisan permitting reform bill out of committee last week. This bill is needed to accelerate American efforts to decarbonize our growing economy & strengthen our energy security and that of our allies.
Without permitting reform, roughly half of the potential carbon pollution reductions from the Inflation Reduction Act will be lost.

The PROVE IT Act has dropped in the U.S. House of Representatives!
We are thrilled that this important climate legislation is moving forward — and that it has robust bipartisan support, too.
