There have been lots of great events happening @CCMENELEY! Today is AG In The Classroom. Students are seeing tractors, a goat, bunnies, chickens, a horse, bees and are learning about the watershed.

We had visits from DCSO's K-9 unit and Block D students from DHS to help support expected student behavior. We culminated with hand prints on the east wall! The hand prints will be there for years to come! @CCMENELEY

Huge thanks to Joe Benigno's Tree Service for supplying their lift for our annual Egg Drop. 2 groups' eggs survived a 75ft drop. They utilized the engineering design process to create a safe container for their egg. Thank you 5th grade team @CCMENELEY!

Happy Friday! Our 4th graders @CCMENELEY worked with Mrs. Stoll to create a great backdrop for our stage. They were very creative and brightened up our school!

Our 5th grade robotics team the "Marvels", won the Inspire Award for their competition in the 2021 Live Remote VEX Robotics World Championship. @CCMENELEY is very proud of their dedication to robotics and the coaching of Mrs. Michalik. Go team!

It was a big day at @CCMENELEY for our kindergarten students! We promoted our kindergarten students to first grade. Thank you parents and guardians for coming out and supporting your amazing kids!

We caught our leprechaun! We coded and tested and revised until finally, the leprechaun (and his gold) was ours!

Our “X-ray” machine is now complete! After enjoying a biography about Marie Curie, we tested materials to help bring our creation to life. We tried opaque materials and transparent ones, too. Translucent was the key, as it turns out. ☺️ Who knew?
