LOCAL UPDATE: Water levels are continuing to fall around Tuggerah Lake.

The lake peaked at Long Jetty last night at 1.72 metres and is currently just above the Major Flood Level at 1.63 metres.

No significant rainfall is forecast for night or tomorrow for the Central Coast.

Tuggerah Lakes Police and individuals were honoured at an awards and medal ceremony in Wyong today.

Officers recognised for long service and acts of bravery - while several civilians also received awards for risking their lives to save members of the public.
