Congratulations to Transportation Dispatcher, Ellen Pierre, our October 2024 Excellence Award recipient! Her kindness and empathy for our CCPS family comes through in so many ways. Just recently, a parent called Transportation to report that her son had forgotten his brand-new Beats headphones on his bus. Ellen did not miss a beat and quickly took it upon herself to call bus drivers until the headphones were located. After speaking with the parent to advise that the headphones were secure but learning that mom couldn’t pick them up until Monday due to work, Ellen saved the day once again by taking the headphones to the family’s home after she finished her own shift. Ellen’s noble acts of selflessness and dedication to CCPS is truly admired. #CCPSProud
