Canisius College is going through a lot right now.
As of Thursday, July 16th, around 25 professors and 70 staff were laid off.
An overwhelming amount have been women and POC.
Tenured, Tenure Track and Non-Tenured alike have been laid off.
Our counseling center has seen cuts.

The Religion, Classics, and Entrepreneurship Majors have been canceled, and it looks like more cuts are to come.
All of these choices were made by President John Hurley and the Board, with no input from the Deans.
We stand with all of those who have been laid off This isn't right
