@Liz_ORiordan May I add that for various reasons, Mothering Sunday is hard for so many, whether Mothers or not, due to circumstances around their children/child/mother status. Whatever the reason, I have found it comforting to remind myself of my strength and capacity to love, no matter what.

10 years ago, on 6th July 2013, my Mummy died and the floor fell out of my life. I won't ever stop missing her, but I do still talk to her. It isn't easy, but it is possible: one step/minute at a time, and you'll get through. Be kind to yourself and demand for yourself

@RevRichardColes My father's name is Clive but he's known as Ian (middle name) originally because his dad was alive and still because he wasn't the biggest fan of it and everyone knows him as Ian. Don't know where Ian came from though, not aware of others in his family.
