General Manager Peter Gelb announced today that in response to the coronavirus pandemic and the cancellation of performances, the Met will offer a nightly series of free web streams that will bring opera to audiences while the house is dark—beginning March 16 at 7:30PM ET.
CHS Jazz Band students had a great day of jazz today! The jazz band played an awesome concert at Staples Hall and received a standing ovation. The Clarkston High School Septet Jazz Combo played a wonderful set. Great job today CHS Jazz Band!

225 SMS 7th gr musicians had a great day at the Detroit Symphony Orchestra! They watched a performance of Dvorak’s New World Symphony and visited the Detroit Insititue of Arts. Flutists even got to meet principal flutist & Mrs Pagel’s former teacher, Sharon Sparrow! @LearnAtCCS
Another cast member told us that your reputation proceeds you. People will know if you have done a good job in the past and if you do a good job and are nice to people, that will help you get the next job. Great answers!
One cast member told us you will have a lot more failures than successes but if you are passionate about doing what you want to do, you will persevere.
Tonight the CHS musicians got to see Aladdin on Broadway. After the show, the musicians were invited to speak with several members of the cast. One of the questions we asked was what was one thing that helped you in your career.
