80+ people joined us in person & via Zoom for our chapter meeting yesterday! From organizing in solidarity with Palestine, to building the labor movement, to fighting for tenants' rights - we are determined to keep building a better world, no matter what.

Mpox is now confirmed to spread via airborne particles, including both aerosols and larger droplets.
This suggests a more severe situation, with transmission occurring through close-range airborne contact.

North Carolina's anti-mask bill just passed the House. It will now go to the Governor.
This is a horrible bill that narrows the health exemption for wearing a mask, and makes it easier for cops and anti-maskers to harass people into taking off their mask.

So, telling a cardiologist he was spouting lies wasn’t on my agenda for today, but I guess plans changed.
In 2024, there is absolutely NO excuse for telling a HEART patient that wearing a mask will “ruin your immune system.”
My grandmother’s body had to move twice cause the morgues were full this Jan and the funeral director had a busy week burying people in their 30s and upwards. He said it’s all due to C-O-V-I-D
Much of the U.S. has entered a rapid C0VlD surge. Wastewater levels in Bay Area CA are *near all time highs*. Walgreens test positivity at its highest since February. Similar trend elsewhere/globally. C0VlD is back, and this time we have no hospital data to know the full story.
Why are you mad if I wear a mask? You won! You got what you wanted. No mandates, no required vaccines, no data or testing. The government literally gave up. Why are you still angry about it?
We sincerely need to have a talk about wants vs. needs, comfort vs. safety, and the limits of individual freedoms in an inextricably interconnected world.
Quit my PhD yesterday! Pretty proud of myself. It wasn’t easy but I wasn’t sure I was going to survive another few years (literally) and I knew my baby needed his mommy alive so it’s what I had to do.
Inspired by students at Columbia, students at NYU participated in a midnight primal scream outside NYU President Linda Mills’ apartment tonight.
This comes after NYU signed off on a 6am raid and sweep of their peaceful encampment protest calling on the university to divest from death.
Student statement:
Linda, can you hear us now?
Tonight, an autonomous group of 50 NYU students engaged in a collective scream outside of Mills’ penthouse after she called NYPD to arrest students for a second time this month in a continued effort to suppress pro-Palestine speech.
Until Palestine is free: We will not stop. We will not rest.
And neither will President Mills.
CUNY Campus Safety stormed the City College Palestine encampment. Students and community members pushed them back and protected the encampment!
Students continue to stand with Palestine
We will not be moved
OSU's apartheid investments fueled the atrocities that are the reason why no universities are left in Gaza, Israel having murdered undergraduates and professors alike. The least OSU can do now is begin to repair the harm it has caused--starting by meeting SJP's demands.
ATTN: BU is now asking undergraduates to grade their assignments THEMSELVES. Whether it’s AI or self-grading, @bu_tweets can’t seem to find a way to resolve their lack of graders. Oh wait… they could also just pay us a living wage !
It only took three weeks to win a projected 100k uncommitted votes. The movement to free Palestine will not relent.
An immediate ceasefire and end to military aid for Israel NOW.
