Sonya Deville —

Deville is one of those talents that’s a rare breed, but is ultimately gifted in the craft, bringing her MMA background to the ring and showcasing her natural ability to outshine whoever she is competing against.

Deville sadly never really had a breakout career as a singles star, and floated between factions without ever holding a singles championship.

I was really enjoying her partnership with Chelsea Green, but ultimately things fell through as injuries halted her success. Upon returning, she formed PFC which didn’t translate with the crowd too well and creative didn’t necessarily treat them too well, suffering countless losses and only several wins.

It’s shitty seeing someone like Deville get released by WWE as I feel that she had the natural talent to be a top woman if booked properly. Her coming out publicly on Tough Enough made me gain so much respect for her, as it proved that she wasn’t afraid to bet on herself no matter what others may think of her.

I truly hope that wherever she goes next she will be given the right opportunity, because I feel that she has a lot more to give and show the world why WWE made a mistake.
